General Women's Conference

Hayley and I had a fun girls night. First we went to dinner with some friends. Then we were able to attend the General Women's Meeting of the church. Hayley was given a beautiful rose before it started.

The broadcast was inspirational as women from 8 years of age and older all gathered together for the first time. There was wonderful talks, music and videos. I loved the quote by Rosemary Wixom, "As individuals we are strong. Together, With God, We are UNSTOPPABLE." Hayley said her favorite part were the following 2 videos:

Afterwards we had fun at a dessert social with friends. Love this sisterhood we share!

Surprise Party

Some of Michael's friends threw him a surprise party for his 18th birthday. Lots of friends, food and fun - what more could you want?!

Gifts from the Sea

Michael was kind and got everyone something special from his cruise. Everyone was excited to hear about his adventures and see what treasures he brought them.

Cruise Adventures

Michael returned from his cruise adventures over Spring Break. He had such a great time with his friend Tyler and his family. The ship made stops in Jamaica,the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. Michael really like Jamica. Michael and Tyler had a lot of fun on the ship, eating tons of amazing food, swimming and snorkling, kissing sting rays, climbing rock walls, going ice skating, watching fun shows and of course, playing lots of basketball.

 Due to fog and an oil spill in the Gulf, the ship was not able to return to port and was delayed over 12 hours. Everyone was ready to get home by late Sunday night.

Cousin Fun

Over Spring Break we were able to have a Cousin Sleepover with Max, Mallory & Clay.  So happy they moved here last summer!  Matt and Jen were able to get away to Austin to celebrate their anniversary but the real party was at our house :)

Movies, games, pizza and playing at the park.  What could be better?

Maybe a little Bahama Bucks Sno Cone action to finish off the week-end!

Beach Day!

It wouldn't be Spring Break without a trip to Galveston Island for some fun in the sun!

Rodeo Time!

Every year we head to the Houston Rodeo for some good eats & fun. After riding the train in, we checked out the animals.  Lots of cute new little piglets and other animals.  After spending time with the livestock, we headed off to some of our favorite rodeo spots.
