2 days after Christmas, Don's brother Marc & his great family flew in from Virginia to visit.  It was so fun hanging out with Marc & Jenn and playing with cousins.

We hadn't seen David for a few years, and it was great to have him here, telling us stories from his mission. They were only here 5 days but we filled those days to the brim with as much fun as possible! NASA, bowling, an amazing brunch, swimming at their hotel, lots and lots of games & family time. It was so great!!

Special Visitors

The day after Christmas our doorbell rang and we opened it up to a special visitor - Brooklyn!  Jenn & Terrell had come back to visit family for the holidays and stopped by to say hi.  Ever since Brooklyn stayed with us for a couple weeks last spring, Luke will periodically ask when she can come over again.  Since they moved to California just a week after baby TJ was born, we haven't gotten to see them.  So it was a fun surprise to have them come to town and play for a few minutes!

A few hours later Ade and Yeni came over for dinner and a fun night of games.  Ade has been in Utah for school this fall, and we have really missed him.  It was so great to have him back for a week!

 We went to Don's parents house Christmas afternoon and had a wonderful time.  We shared a delicious Christmas dinner,  exchanged gifts and played a rousing game of JINGO.  By the time we left their house that evening, winter weather had rolled in and it had dropped over 30 degrees.  Now it even felt like Christmas as we borrowed blankets for the cold ride home...with our non-heated car, it was like riding in a one horse open sleigh :-)
