Since we didn't have church until 11 am, we had a lot of time to do fun things together. The morning started way too early with a few people who were very excited to check out their Easter Baskets. Michael was having a hard time waking up, so Luke gave him a little extra help.

Once everyone was up, they ran to the front room to see all the Easter fun...baskets and eggs everywhere.

This is probably one of my favorite candid shots of the morning. Luke had been so excited about what was inside the individual egg he got, he was lagging behind on collecting eggs. So everyone started to help him fill his basket too!

Jake took a time out from finding eggs to play a little Easter Bunny Bowling.
After a little candy appetizer, it was time for Easter breakfast.

The early morning festivities left plenty of time for showers and playing. By 10 am everyone was dressed in their Sunday best and we sat down to watch a dvd about Jesus Christ, called Finding Faith in Christ. It was a great way to prepare for church and Easter Sunday.
After watching and talking about the movie, we headed outside for a few quick attempts at a nice picture of all the kids, then headed off to church.
