October 2012 Recap

October was full of activity full of play practices, eye and dental appointments, Field Trips to Bayou Bend,a Boy Scout Chili Cook-off, Trevor's Regional Choir Tryouts, UIL practices on Mondays and Wednesdays, Scouts on Tuesdays and Wednesday, lots of Lamar football games, and plenty to more to keep us out of trouble.  Jake and Hayley were involved in the children's Primary Sacrament Program at church, where they both did splendidly.

Michael spent 8 long hours making Greek Pizza at the Greek Festival for the National Honor Society.  I think if he ever sees a Greek Pizza again, it may be too soon.  That week-end was also the historic announcement about the LDS missionary age being lowered.  When Michael heard it, he just smiled huge and said, "Well, I guess I know what I will be doing in 18 months!"  Amazing.

On the 27th we were able to participate in the Cystic Fibrosis Walk again with our friends the Andres.  It was a fun (and chilly!) morning.  So glad we were able to go and have fun making Great Strides for our friend Emily and others affected by Cystic Fibrosis.

October wrapped up with lots of Halloween fun filled with spooky skeletons, pirates, ninjas and witches!
