A Long Time Ago

In a Galaxy not so far away, a baby boy was born named Jake.

As he grew, it became evident.
The force was strong with this one...

Giggles

All day long. What could be better?

It's no tie...

We just all love this little guy!

The King of Drool and open mouth kisses

Luke is 5 months old now.
The big excitement around here is feeding time and who gets to feed him. Who knew bananas could be so much fun?!

I think he likes it too!

Rise and Shout

The Cougars are out!

Football season has officially arrived...and Luke loves it!
(just like the rest of his family, what a coincidence!)

Party in Dallas

A couple of weeks ago we went to Dallas for my brother's wedding reception. It was a fun party and we loved spending time with my family.

As usual, the cousins had a blast with each other, swimming, playing games and dress up. We love it! (even the evil Gator influence - ha!)

1st Day of School

Michael (8th grade), Trevor (4th grade) & Hayley (2nd grade)

I think they were a little excited...

And Jake was ready to take them!

Be True

The theme we picked for this school year for our family is "Be True". It comes from a quote from President Gordon B. Hinckley in a talk that he gave to the youth several years ago. He said:

Be true to your own convictions.
You know what is right, and you know what is wrong.
You know when you are doing the proper thing.
You know when you are giving strength to the right cause.
Be loyal. Be faithful. Be true.

-President Gordon B. Hinckley

New Tricks

Luke is 4 months old now & full of new tricks.
Besides doing a lot of talking, drooling and laughing of course!

Like rolling over

Finding his toes...and eating them!

And being so cute and huggable we can hardly stand it!

4 month stats... 14lbs 8 oz and 27 1/4 inches long!
