Saturday Fun

Saturday was filled with great activities. Michael had his first youth service project in the morning, helping to clear a member's yard. Trevor, Hayley, & I went to a fun birthday party for one of Jake's church friends and then we meet Don & Michael at the Y for basketball.

Michael's last basketball game of the season was yesterday. He had a great game and they ended the season with another win. Everybody had a good time and it was fun to talk with Grandaddy and Grammy who came down to see the game. The head of the sports program came up after the game and talked to us about getting Michael in his summer league. It wasn't a hard sell, since Michael had already been talking about it for weeks. So we get a couple weeks off and it starts all over again. The other kids will love swimming in the evenings during his week-night practices.

We didn't make it to the end of season party, but later that evening we did go to a fun place to eat with the kids. This was the funny sign at the hostess stand as you walked in the door:

We had a fun waitress who piled on the whipped cream for Trevor. YUM!

There's not much better than a spoonful of whipped cream!
